Huckleberries!

Ahhh haaaa, or as Archimedes said, "Eureka!  I've found it."  I think I finally got a video to load on YOUTUBE.

Go to YOUTUBE and search for SEMDTRA, VINTAGE FLATTRACK, PUSH ROD POWER and let me know if any of you can access the Golden Isles SEMDTRA Vintage Open final I tried to upload.

If yes, I will try to upload several more from Neeses and OSP.  I'll be waiting here at my dang computer, where I have wasted an entire day and a half, using trial and error techniques.  I woulda' asked for help from a teen ager but I ran outta' those years ago.

Bring it on Big Boy!

I want the other folks watching that video to notice the middle of the back straight, just before I got by you.  That's where you did a suspension check.  LOL.  Looked like you came off the seat about 6" and couldn't get your foot on the foot peg.  I knew that was the time to pounce.  Then, you kicked the infield dirt and lost traction for a mili-second and it was bye bye 62c.

I love this stuff!

More RACE VIDEO.....

I just uploaded another one, this time at MidCarolina Speedway from last OCT.  I really like this one except for Jerry and Mike.  This is where Jerry checked out on the first lap and Mike passed me at the finish line.

Lots of good footage of Dave and Brian, heh, heh.  And yes Dale, this was your big hole shot fiasco.

Y'all see if you can find it.  I'm having trouble putting in the right links or clues or whatever.  As a last resort, go to JP45cBSA.

Let me know what you think.  I'm going to do another one.......

Oh and Peter, I at least waved at you at the starting line.  You're gonna' have to get in front of me to get on camera.

How's that sayin' go 'bout old dogs...new tricks. By golly, I believe you got it! Great video!! Especially the Mid Carolina one. You got any VPS(Video Posting School) days planned. If you do, sign me up. Maybe you could do 'em in conjunction with Mike's track day.

Hey Ricky,

That's a good one.  This is killin' me.  First I found that I have to edit out all but about 5 - 6 minutes in order to get the file small enough.  That takes me 30 - 45 minutes.

Then, I have to upload the shortened file to YOUTUBE and that takes another 30 - 45 minutes.

But you're right, they are neat.  I just uploaded a third video.  This one is also MidCarolina but from APR 20, 2013.  Jonathan Smith and Derek Sauls are the stars this time.

Later this week, I'm going to upload some real racing from OSP in Savannah.  The AHRMA National stars will be:
#44 Randy Thistle     MN
#13 David Aldana      GA
#57 Frank Hardman   AR
#31 Jim Monegan      WA
#61 Kurt Seeman      WI

OSP will be high speed but really smooth.  I pretty much watched everyone from a good vantage point, behind them.  However, in the final, the old BSA outlasted all but #44 as the over head cam bikes mostly broke.  I ended up catching #44 and making a race out of it at the end.  (Maybe he didn't know I was there.)  You can be the judge.

Got to shut this dang thing down now.  It's about to over heat.

Uh oh, here comes another one.....  Check in on YOUTUBE.  None of you SEMDTRAs are in it except Jim Mize.  (Hope your broken leg is mending, Jim.)

This time I uploaded the AHRMA SUPER SENIOR 60+ heat race at OSP in Savannah on MAR 9, 2013.  I got off the line first and stayed there the whole race so it's not too interesting.  Jim Mize and Beno Rodi appear briefly towards the end.

Get out your stop watch and time my laps.  It seemed fast at the time.

Does anyone know what a fast lap around OSP is, for a vintage bike?  Well, you're fixin' to find out 'cause tomorrow or Wednesday I'm gonna' upload the 70s SINGLES 50+ class.  I could just barely hang with those guys.  You'll see.

If y'all get tired of this stuff let me know.  Check that.  Don't let me know.  I like it!  I'm startin' to feel kinda racey.

Peter,

Ahhhh, ha ha.

I get it.  You are planning on being out front, hogging all the camera time.  I like your style.

Well, you better hope you don't get "stage fright" and forget your lines, or I guess that would be your race line.  I don't think you should count on too much time in the lime light but we will see.

Maybe just for you, ole buddy, I can mount the camera facing to the rear.  LOL!

See you at Coleridge,

Heyyyyyy,

I posted the fast heat race at OSP I was tellin' you about.  Go over to YOUTUBE and search JP45cBSA and then find the AHRMA 70s SINGLES 50+ HEAT RACE and see what you think.  I ran 5th out of 6 racers.  Randy Thistle from MN #44 was the fast guy that night.

The pack caught / lapped #61 at the finish line so he was the only guy I beat.  Drat.

However, I hung in there 'til the bitter end for the final.  The lights went out in the 3 - 4 turn for an hour and a half and it got late while we waited for repairs.  Also, several of the OHC bikes broke in other races, including my buddy David #13.  We went to the line with only three of us left, #44 HON, #57 YAM and #45 BSA.  The #57 YAM broke on the 2nd lap so I inherited 2nd place.  However, I didn't SUCK.  I was actually catching the #44 HON towards the end.  Maybe he backed off at let ole John close up.  He's also a buddy of mine and the owner of Gopher Glass (fiberglass tanks and seats).

Well, I hope you enjoy the videos.  I have now posted all that I had that were worth watching.  I didn't post my BUSCO heat race vid 'cause nobody was in it, after the first turn.  Same with the AHRMA SUPER SENIOR 60+ final at OSP / Savannah.  It's just my front tire eatin' up a lot of dirt.

I will charge up my GO PRO and have it mounted for Coleridge this weekend.  Dang, I hope I don't get too much video of Pete and Eric and Mike and Dale and Dale and Brian and etc.  Kinda' hoping I just get the old front tire eatin' dirt again.....

Hey JP,
I think I've got this covered. We're going to bring another GoPro to mount on your back so we can see 'em coming and going. You coming up from behind them and them falling back behind you, of course. Now we just have to find some savvy editor to do a split screen with some cool sixties music.
